More practice on the sand and white water. Conditions check, wave selection, direction and speed control, stability. Improvement of paddling techniques, standing up, stance, handling of the board on the shore, balance as well as the rhythm of paddling and synchronization with white water.

Introduction to the green waves. Basic explanation of the physics and mechanics of the waves and their parts (peak, shoulder, face...). Understanding currents, wave sets, areas (inside, outside, impact zone, safe zone). Practice of the turtle roll technique. Surf etiquette. Positioning. Paddling rhythm and synchronization with the wave. Technique to slide down the face of the wave. Visualization. Different types of breaks.

Techniques for the developing speed (in paddling, poping-up, visualization and positioning), bottom turn, top turn and cut back.

Improvement of general technique. Development of techniques for more maneuvers (Roller, tail blow, roundhouse, carves, power carves check turns).
